Nigel Wright is touted as a brilliant man so why would he be so stupid as to jeopardize his reputation by sneaking behind the back of Stephen Harper and writing a check for Mike Duffy. I really don't believe Nigel Wright would do something that inappropriate without the go ahead from the Prime Minister.
But, I guess we will have to wait for the book to find out the truth because right now not one of the people involved knows how to tell the truth. Nor do they have the political savvy to weather this scandal.
At one time I considered nicknaming Harper the "Teflon Prime Minister" since every time he made a mistake the PMO was able to misdirect the responsibility however the accumulation of errors and omissions by the man himself has come to rest fully on his shoulders.
